So the Vikerkaar line was doing so well, each one just laying one egg of the right color, until Chartreuse! When I tried to breed a vine, she laid one egg... of her own type. Nooooo!

I blame the fact that Anya finally had a child!

Also I a little while ago, I gave away one black egg and kept the other, and of course the other turned out to be an alt. *winces* Maybe some day I will get an alt. *clings to hope*

My emotional insides feel all clenchy and I don't wanna be at work. I'm not sure I'd wanna be at home, either, though. Mruuuu. Stupid moods.

I snagged an abandoned black hatchling off of the abandoned page. I'm sorta worried it wasn't meant to be abandoned but I don't know! I hope not. Anyway maybe they were trying for an alt. I hope.

Also all my dragons seem to be gendering female now. Wacko. Before it was a steady string of boys...

Mia and Godot bred an alt black, and I didn't realize I couldn't have more eggs when I had 5 hatchlings. I guess I should have. That is what I get for playing in the morning when I am not thinking straight!

I should not name dragons while feeling so silly. Well, I was irritated that Vergil Sparda was taken, and then Dante took over my brain. I BLAME HIM.

it occurs to me, rather a bit late--eider i hope you do not mind such a silly name in the lineage of your dragons

ha ha, so my problem with naming my dragons significant names is that i then don't want to breed them too much after i have a specific kid, or in certain instances, don't want to breed them at all. eg. Mia and Godot -- i can't bring myself to litter the caves with random offspring of theirs, i feel like one was enough. ^_^;;; ditto Gillian and William, now that they've had a boy i could call Jack... even if he wasn't a shield dragon.

hahaha, so sad. i'm a tard.

also i'm rather annoyed that someone took the effort to raise gillian's other child then didn't name it! makes no sense to me. ah well! i give up. i can't worry about all the released eggs, or i will go nuts!

So I am oddly pleased that someone named Gillian and William's little orange boy "Humphrey" (although they spelled it Humfrey). So cute! I really want them to give me a boy guardian that I can call Jack, but I don't want to keep throwing eggs all over, so maybe I'll just let them have Humphrey and that will be all cute and nice.

For the second time, I tried to breed Anya and Lucius and no eggs. So I guess next time I'll try someone else.

The grown up vampire dragons are so cuuuute! Next year, next year!

dude. inbreeding does produce alt vines. uh, i hope nobody rejects the two normal vines that went to the cave because they are inbred. that would make me cry for them.

On the dragonspam community I've noticed lots of people complaining they don't have enough boys... Not me! I've got one girl to four three (i can't count) boys. It kinda sucks when I want to play with breeding! I finally picked up a pink egg just so I'd have another guaranteed girl. Maybe the white or black hatchlings will turn out to be chicks...

edit back to four boys one girl... the little black hatchling is a boy.

One thing I hate about working so far away is stuff like today. When I get to work and remember something important and start to worry I didn't do something else very important. If I were even half an hour, easily accessibly able to get home I'd go home and check, but it's not easy at all. So I just have to worry.

Dreamhost has apparently had a gigantic billing FUBAR and if you're a DH user and had autobilling on, it's likely you got charged. Maybe more than once. I got charged twice, and (un?)fortunately my card had enough room... but they're doing refunds.
